The portfolio will be developed over the next two years. In Latin America, Cubico is already present in several countries including Brazil and Mexico. Ecuador Scraps Fuel SubsidiesPresident Lenin Moreno of Ecuador has scrapped fuel subsidies worth $1.3 billion a year. This has resulted in widespread protests since last week. Moreno said he scrapped the subsidies to boost Ecuador’s economy and ease the country’s debt. Ecuador has agreed to cut public spending in return for a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). |
